EXPANDING
Kloser Art Projects is a nomad program consisting of international art projects
which we organise in collaboration with international partners ranging from galleries to public art centers and institutions.
Together we aim to exhibit the work of international artists with an overwhelming focus on artists from Africa and the Diaspora.
Our nomad program highlights the global artistic dialogue, transcending generational movements, artistic expressions, and geographical borders.
By exhibiting artworks that carry a universal message through their unique visual forms, we aim to bring the public and collectors closer to artists.
For the past seven years we have enjoyed collaborations with galleries and institutions hosting and co-hosting solo and group shows in European and American cities,
notably in Brussels, Antwerp, Aalst, Kalmthout, Paris, Evian, Dakar, Geneva and Miami, among others.
Kloser Art Projects approaches global and local art scenes with an equal ambition to engage lasting philosophical and intellectual dialogues around art
that reach well beyond the traditional notions of frontier.
Founded in 2018 by art collector Klaus Pas,
Kloser Contemporary Art quickly evolved from an online gallery into a nomad one, and ran a fixed location north of Antwerp in 2023.
In 2021, it teamed up with international curators to launch a special focus project called BLAACKBOX, organizing curated exhibitions of works by afro-descendant artists.
In 2025, Klaus Pas and Thomas Jansen steer the model towards art advisory services
with a curated and histrocal approach to collecting art from Africa and the Diaspora.
In parallel, Kloser Art Projects will keep on co-hosting sporadic nomad exhibitions in major European cities.
